Like the Linh Ung Non Nuoc Pagoda in Ngu Hanh Son District and the Linh Ung Bai But Pagoda in Son Tra District, the Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda in Hoa Vang District boasts its ancient and imposing beauty.
The pagoda is emerging as a not-to-be-missed venue for both domestic and foreign visitors whilst they are in the Bana Hills in Da Nang.
About 30 km west from the centre of Da Nang, the Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda is situated on top of the Ba Na Mountain in An Loi Village, Hoa Ninh Commune, Hoa Vang District.
Work on the pagoda began on 21 September 1999, and it was officially inaugurated on 5 March 2004.
Like the Linh Ung Non Nuoc Pagoda in Ngu Hanh Son District, the Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda features architectural styles of curved tiled rooftops, dragons, lotus flowers, and Buddhist prayer wheels.
Visitors to the pagoda can enjoy nature with sacred atmosphere of a peaceful Buddhist world.
The 27m-high statue of Sakyamuni Buddha sitting on a 6m-high round lotus base. This is one of the largest sitting Buddha statues in Southeast Asia.
